Looking for a quick and sweet spring craft? This Felt Daisy & Bow Garland is an easy project that brings soft pastel color and handmade sweetness to any space. With simple felt flowers and delicate ribbon bows, it’s perfect for decorating a mantel, nursery, party backdrop, or Easter table.
The best part? It only takes a few supplies and comes together in under an hour!
Supplies
White felt
Yellow felt
Ribbon (we used a baby blue velvet)
Twine or thin cord for the garland base
Scissors or a cutting machine
Hot glue gun or fabric glue
Daisy template (or freehand flower shape)
Step 1: Cut the Daisy Shapes
Start by cutting your felt flowers.
You’ll need:
White felt daisy bases
Yellow felt centers
For each flower:
Cut a simple five-petal daisy shape from white felt.
Cut a small oval or circle from yellow felt for the center.
Tip: Slightly irregular petals actually make the garland feel more handmade and charming!

Step 2: Attach the Daisy Centers
Place the yellow felt pieces in the center of each white daisy.
Attach them using:
A small dot of hot glue, or a few hand stitches if you prefer a sewn look.
Press gently and allow the glue to set.
Step 3: Tie Mini Ribbon Bows
Cut ribbon pieces about 5–6 inches long.
Tie simple bows and trim the tails to your desired length. These bows will sit between the daisies and give the garland that soft, decorative look.
Make as many bows as you have flowers (or slightly more if you want extra accents).
Step 4: Arrange Your Garland
Lay your twine or cord out flat and begin planning your layout.
Alternate:
daisy → bow → daisy → bow
Spacing suggestion:
Leave about 3–4 inches between each piece for a balanced garland.
This step helps you visualize the finished look before attaching everything.
Step 5: Attach the Pieces
Using a small dot of hot glue, attach the felt daisies and ribbon bows directly to the twine.
Allow the glue to cool before moving the garland.
Step 6: Hang and Style
Your garland is ready to display! Hang it:
Across a mantel
On a nursery wall
Along a party table
Over a spring display shelf
As part of an Easter backdrop
The soft felt flowers and delicate bows create a light, whimsical look that instantly adds spring charm.
✨ Creative Variations
Try switching things up:
Pastel ribbon colors for a spring rainbow garland
Pink or lavender centers for colorful daisies
Add extra bows for a bow-heavy cottagecore look
Use gingham ribbon for a farmhouse spring style
