DIY Fall Felt Leaf Wreath
Fall is just around the corner and it's time to start crafting and getting your home ready for hot apple cider and pumpkin spice latte season! This week we have an amazing DIY craft for you from Happy Happy Nester to add a cute and modern fall touch to any home! A simple felt leaf wreath to hang on your door or wall that people will be amazed by when you said you made it yourself!
Here is what you will need:
crafting wire and wire cutters
Metal wreath hoop
Start by downloading your leaf pattern template and print it out or upload it to Cricut. Using your Cricut, cut your leaves using a wool blend felt setting or if you are cutting by hand, trace your leaves onto your fall felt sheets and cut them out. A helpful tip for cutting by hand is to trace your leaf pattern onto freezer paper and lightly iron the freezer paper, waxy side down, onto your felt. this makes cutting easier by holding your pattern flat and in place.
After all your leaves are cut, begin gluing them to your crafting wire. As you glue, wrap the wire around your hoop. Continue with this until your whole wreath is covered in beautiful leaves!
Finally, tie a bow from your wired ribbon and glue or tie this onto the top of your wreath!
And there you have it! Your perfect fall wreath is ready for display! Head on over to Happy Happy Nester for more!
