DIY Pumpkin Felt Hair Clip

Pumpkin season has officially begun! So grab yourself a pumpkin spice latte and your favorite cozy sweater and start your fall crafting off with this adorable and super easy hair clip!
DIY Easy Felt Pumpkin Hair Clip
What you'll need:
  • 1 sheet green felt (we used Enchanted Forest)
  • 1 sheet orange felt (we used Georgia Peach)
  • 1 Premium Alligator Clip 1 7/8" size
  • 4" of 3/8" wide Solid Grosgrain ribbon (we used Light Coral)
  • Hot glue gun and glue sticks
  • Fabric Scissors
DIY Easy Felt Pumpkin Hair Clip
Start by cutting our your pieces. You will need one oval and one rounded rectangle cut from your orange felt. Your oval should be 1 3/8" tall and the rounded rectangle should be 1 3/4" wide. You will also need to cut a small rectangle from your green felt that should measure 1/2" x 1/4". 
Next, cut your solid grosgrain ribbon to fit around your alligator clip. Heat seal the ends of the ribbon with a lighter so that they don't fray. Using your hot glue gun, glue the ribbon to your clip.

Now glue your orange oval felt piece on top of the center of the rounded rectangle piece. Glue your green stem piece to the center back.

Finally, glue your pumpkin onto the top of your alligator clip.
