Felt Avocado Toy Tutorial & Free SVG

MATERIALS

• Emerald Felt Sheet
• Lypple Felt Sheet
• Brown Felt Sheet
• Pink Sunset Felt Sheet
• Emerald Embroidery Thread
• Black Embroidery Thread
• Needle
• Hot Glue Gun
• Avocado Cutout SVG File
• Stuffing

STEP 1

 After you have all of your supplies ready, download our free SVG file to cutout the avocado either by hand or with your cutting machine! 

STEP 2

Next, let's glue the smaller lighter green cutout on top of the bigger darker green sheet. Make sure you glue all the way to the edges so that your piece lays flat on top once you fill the toy with stuffing.

STEP 3

Then, let's glue the brown heart to the center of the bottom half.

After that, glue the pink dots right under where it's eyes will be.

STEP 4

Now, take your other dark green avocado cutout and line both up on top of each other. Then, take your emerald thread and start to whip stitch the edges of both of the darker green pieces together. Stop about 1-2" before meeting back up with your start stitch. 

Now let's add our stuffing in! Once it is full, finish up your stitching and tie the ends off. 

STEP 5

After that's finished, grab your black thread and and stitch a small smile and eyes. We drew ours onto the avocado first to make it easier to follow with stitching!

And just like that your little avocado pal is complete!
