Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Measure & Cut the Felt
Lay one of your felt sheets down with the backside on top. Then lay your book on top of it with about an inch and a half on both sides.
Then, fold the outside side in and use hot glue to secure.
Now, take your other sheet of felt and lay it directly on top. Then use hot glue to secure both bottom edges together.
Then, do the same thing to the side without the fold.
Now, we're going to do the same fold on the top sheet as we did the bottom and use hot glue to secure it.
It should look something like this!
After those dry, take your scissors and cut off any of the extra felt on top. We left extra room for our larger books.
Now, take your hot glue gun and secure the edges together, that we just cut.
Once that is dry, you can cut your ribbon strips. You'll need two strips that are the same length. Ours are 16".
Open your sleeve and place the ribbons edge onto the edge of the sleeve and use hot glue to secure.
Do this to both sides evenly!
Now, you can tie your bow up and you're ready to take your book with you anywhere!
